The Newton South Dance Marathon is one of over 300 Miracle Network Dance Marathons, a national movement across North America both uniting students and fundraising for our local children’s hospital. Raise a Smile brought the Dance Marathon to Newton South High School in 2018 with hopes of inspiring the community
to become proud participants of the national Dance Marathon movement. With this in mind, we were able to raise over $5000 at our first Dance Marathon. All proceeds made from the event goes 100% to the Boston Children’s Hospital.

Who's it for?
Have you or your family ever been to the Boston Children's Hospital (BCH)? The Newton South Dance Marathon is a fundraiser benefiting the Boston Children's Hospital, helping sick and injured kids and aiding research and families with services not covered by insurance.
Every year, we feature performances from SASA’s Zamaana, Newtones, DEAFinitely, and Kung Fu! There is free ice cream and dinner, games, raffles, and of course, lots and lots of dancing. At the heart of all this, the Dance Marathon is fun because we are dancing for miracles.
